Welcome to part five of our review of the Q4 2018 SAP SuccessFactors update.
Today’s batch of articles complete our series for this quarter and we round this analysis off nicely with a focus on SAP Jam and a breakdown of the improvements seen within Platform, Reporting & Analytics and Integration.
Over the last 18 months, SAP has invested significantly into creating extensive functionality to Jam, transforming it beyond a static collaboration tool to a more dynamic portal where content and knowledge can easily be shared, stored and sought out. In this article a number of our contributors have worked together to draw out some of the welcomed enhancements seen to design and navigation, supporting a more user-friendly experience with SAP Jam. We also take stock here of the features included that strive to make it easier accessing and sharing knowledge through Knowledge Base and Forums.
Platform, Report & Analytics and Integration
Mounika Annam has provided her review of many of the key improvements seen to Platform, Reporting & Analytics and Integration. With updates to User Interface and Admin screens we start to see a more streamlined approach to many system admin tasks. We also see improvements to Reporting and Instance management which benefit both end-user admins and consultants.
While this post marks the end of our series of articles; it isn’t the end of the story.
Stephen Burr, Consulting Services Executive Manager at Zalaris UK&I, casts a critical eye over the entire Q4 2018 update in his follow-up summary post. He looks at some of the themes and developments he’s seen emerging through this release and also reflects on the upcoming developments to look forward to with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) in which the right movements are being made to provide more than” just a HR analytics tool”.
