Welcome, once again to the Zalaris series of blog posts on the SAP SuccessFactors Q3 release. Over the coming few days we’ll be publishing articles covering the full SAP SuccessFactors Cloud HCM suite of applications.
Thanks to all of you who have been reading, sharing and providing feedback on our content. For this Q3 2018 release, we’ve decided to do things a little differently. One of the changes is that we will be releasing the SuccessFactors Q3 2018 review articles, plus additional insights and some bonus material to everyone on our mailing list which can be joined via the review blog posts on zalaris.co.uk.
The Q3 release is slightly larger than the previous two quarters and includes a higher proportion (50%) of changes that require some action from you, as a user of SuccessFactors. As recently, Employee Central has a lot of changes within it, but I also note that Recruiting areas have almost twice as many changes as last quarter; be sure to read those posts if you are a user of Employee Central and/or Recruiting.
Elsewhere there is more news on Onboarding 2.0 (although General Availability is still a year away) and news on the embedded use of SAP Leonardo (“unlocking the intelligent enterprise”), particularly in the Cloud Platform Technology and Learning articles.
Preview instances of SuccessFactors were updated on 18 August 2018, and the production instances are being updated on 15 September 2018.
