What our Privacy Policy Covers
Our privacy policy covers how we treat personal information that you choose to give us when using the Zalaris UK&I web site. This could include information such as your name, company name, address, email or phone number.
Information Collection and Use
Any information collected as part of an enquiry is done so to enable Zalaris UK&I to respond to your enquiry. It is used only for the purpose of responding to the enquiry (typically by email or telephone) and will not be used for any other purposes (e.g. adding to mailing lists) unless specifically requested by you. The information is also retained by ROC and will not be passed on to any third party unless the specific enquiry requires it (e.g. a question about a third party product). Collected information may be stored in, processed by and transferred between any of the countries in which Zalaris operates. This may include countries where Zalaris has no dedicated office presence, but in which its employees still operate.
Sensitive Information
Zalaris UK&I does not actively seek to collect sensitive personal data through its web site. “Sensitive personal data” being defined as data concerning racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership, or concerning your health.
Volunteering unsolicited sensitive data to Zalaris UK&I (e.g. by submitting a CV online containing such details) is taken to be an expression of consent to such personal data being used by Zalaris UK&I, but it will be covered by the guidelines as described in this policy.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
We do not and will not sell, rent, or share any personal information with other people or non-affiliated companies except: in response to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process; to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; or where we believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, or as otherwise required by law.
Sharing of information with affiliated companies (e.g. product partners) will be to the extent of allowing any enquiry to be dealt with in the most effective and comprehensive manner possible.
Deleting Your Personal Information
All personal information received by Zalaris UK&I is treated as confidential. Access to any personal information is limited to employees who we believe require such access in order to provide fulfilment of your enquiry or to carry out their own related duties (e.g. review of CVs).
Data Security and Integrity
Zalaris UK&I uses a variety of technology and procedure based security measures for data we collect, use or transfer. These aim to mitigate any risk of loss, misuse, unauthorised alteration or destruction of the data.
Submitting data via the Zalaris UK&I web site does not involve any form of encryption and so such submissions (as with the majority of Internet traffic – including email) should not be considered as secure. Zalaris UK&I accepts no responsibility for the transfer of data securely via the Zalaris UK&I website.
